We’ve driven it in Europe, we’ve seen it Nurburgring lap record, we know it doesthe benchmark numbers. Now I’m here at Sydney Motor Sport Park to see if the Alfa Giulia QV matches the Hype. [Drifting]You can feel that torque vectoring working both into and out of corners, setting youup for a turn and then metering the power on the way out. It’s really nimble, throttle pedal’s really light, a little hard to modulate it till youget used to it. [More Drifting]Beautiful progressive balance, good brakes traction, feeling effortlessly on the wayout of corners even in third gear. Diving into turn one, it points really well, it’s got a real natural balance this car. Plenty of grip but super adjustable at the limit, it’s got a really different characterto the German’s this car, completely different engine note. It’s well balanced, it’s not twitchy but it’s super responsive and all its functionsdon’t require much input. So it’s an easy car to drive quickly but at the same time it’s confidence inspiring,progressive. So just cruising now on a cool down lap, the chance to appreciate just how beautiful thisinterior is, the quality looks great, the red stitching in this car is fabulous. I love that big wide screen, looks like it’s embedded flush into the dash. Everything is soft to touch, there’s not a hard surface in this car. The multi function steering wheel is all well laid out, it’s simple, there’s a nicelittle Ferrari touch with the stop and start button, sitting position is great. There’s not a major flaw in here. So the QV really does the business, it’s got the go to match the show; it really doesperform as well as it looks. Is it as good as an M3 and a C63, well back to back is required to sort that out but itcertainly does all the numbers and feels great to drive. No one who buys this car is going to be disappointed.
