we’re here at the 2018 New York Auto Show to check out the latest creationfrom Lincoln The Aviator is 3-row SUV now a finalized version of The Aviatorisn’t quite ready yet so what we’re seeing here is what Lincoln calls aproduction preview but they did also tell us that the styling and the thingsthat we see here are very very close to what we’re gonna see on the productioncar just with some slight changes to things like the side mirrors andpotentially the wheels now one of our favorite styling elements on the Aviatoris this grille now we’ve seen this girl before on other Lincoln models in thesame shape however what they’ve done is they’ve reversed the mesh to give itmore of a three-dimensional look and it sits very upright it gives the front ofthe car so I’m distinctiveness from the rest of the lineup and I think that aperson who looks fantastic I’m also a big fan of this paint color which iscalled flight blue and that kind of keeps with the aviation motif that wehave for the whole styling of the vehicle now one other thing that I verymuch like is this belt line here this chrome strip makes it easy to see thatit runs very horizontally flat all the way from the front to the back of thecar and this does two things one it makes the car as a whole up herea little bit lower and two it allows you to have these very large windows in thefirst second and third rows and what that does is it allows more light intothe cabin it makes it feel more airy and spacious for occupants now on theinterior the same sort of caveat supply this is a pre-production model so therecould be some changes and materials however the overall design should staypretty much the same which is a good thing it is a very very calm verypeaceful interior the Aviator also borrows some of the best features of thenavigator interior that we liked including this 10 inch screen in thecenter console one other thing that it also grabbed is these 30 Way poweredperfect position seats with massage function and Lincoln actually says thaton the aviator they change the massage pattern to make it more soothing nowLincoln is calling the aviator a medium-sized SUV and will actually havethree rows of seating for up to seven occupants now as we mentioned beforethis really big glass scene around the second and third rows give us some ofthe best back seat visibility of any SUV that I’ve been in and something that I’dreally appreciate on a longer trip being able to see out of the car helps it tofeel more spacious I mean Lincoln also says a six foot twopassenger should be able to fit easily in the second row one claim that wecan’t check though Lincoln says a six foot passenger will actually be able tofit in the third row but they’re not letting anyone back there the good newsis though that there will be easy access on the second row both on the passengerand I recite so both sides will actuallytilt forward and slide out so you can get into the third row easily thoughfinal details on the Aviator are a little bit hard to come by there are afew things that we know from Lincoln that are worth mentioning the first ispower trains now the standard power train will be a twin turbocharged engineof some kind but the exciting option will be that they will actually pile ina plug-in hybrid system on top of that to give you some electrification if youwant it the second thing that I actually really am looking forward to is theAviator will come with a forward facing camera and what it will do is it willread the road between seven to ten meters ahead of you so we’ll check outthings like potholes brakes on the road and it will actually change the adaptivesuspension to smooth out the ride as you go over them now we don’t have an exacton sale date for the Aviator yet we all we know is that it will go intoproduction sometime next year and on sale sometime in 2019you

2019 Lincoln Nautilus: LA Debut — Cars.com

now we’re still a few days away from the start of the LA Auto Show but Lincoln iskicking things off early with the introduction of the 2019 Nautilus nowthe Nautilus is a replacement for the MK X their mid-sized luxury SUV and this isa sign of things to come for Lincoln because they’re going to get rid of allthe MK names and replace them with transportation themed names from heregoing forward so even though it has a new name the Nautilus is actually moreof a refresh on the old MK X rather than a brand new vehicle so you’ll see a lotof similar styling now what’s new up front starts with that grille which youalso see on the Lincoln Navigator and the new 2019 MKC which is also debutinghere in LA now LED headlights will be standard across all grades of what we’relooking at now is the reserve grade which will be the next highest levelbelow three Black Label Series vehicles which Lincoln will announce later alsonew for 2019 are five different wheel styles including these helicopter esqueblades seen here and in the back there are brand new LED tail lights as wellone feature that Lincoln highlighted is the added the badging to the side of thevehicle so you actually won’t see the Nautilus name on the back you’ll see iton the sides up by the front fenders now there are also changes under the skinfor the 2019 Nautilus as well it has a new base engine a turbocharged 2-literfour-cylinder and two new safety technologies that are worth mentioningthe adaptive cruise control will now go all the way down to a stop so whenyou’re in traffic that will help there and it has one new technology called theevasive steer assist can detect an object stopped in your path once youturn the wheel a little bit will actually help you to move the vehicleout of the way to avoid a collision now we don’t have an on sale date or pricinginformation for the 2019 Nautilus yet but as soon as we do you’ll be the firstto knowyou

2019 Audi A6: First Look — Cars.com

Audi has been on a roll lately redesigning lots of its bigger carswe’re here with the latest one this is the all-new A6 now Audi’s been abrand that seldom does really kind of zany and wild redesigns a lot of itscars look similar to the previous generations and that remains the casewith the A6 here overall thematically similar to the prior generation we’vegot a very big grill here it stretches from the bottom of the car all the wayup to the hood you’ve got sort of technical looking headlights here thereare new LEDs these are LED pipes and they kind of come concentric Li towardthe top of the headlight an interesting visual cue there we’re out of the Sunoverall dimensions on the A6 not really that much different from the priorgeneration of the car the taillights do have some more going on though there’salso these sort of concentric LED pipes they’re vertical here instead ofhorizontal like the headlights have and they kind of extend toward the centerbut he likes themselves don’t actually cross the center part of the car if youlook at the A7 and the A8 by contrast both of those have lights that extendall the way across now with their respective redesigns not the case forthe new A6. Now if you’ve seen the inside of the new A7 or the A8 you’ll noticeplenty of similarities here with the new A6 a little bit more of a stackeddashboard with things like this outcropping here versus a more of aflush surface in the A8 for kind of more of an open atmosphere inside the carstill two screens here this is probably the biggest single change versus theprior generation of the A6 an eight point eight inch lower display astandard eight point eight inch upper display or an optional ten point threeinch upper display which we’re looking at that latter screen right here in thiscar at the Auto Show lots of stuff going on here you can even go look at360-degree cameras and show kind of an exterior view of the vehicle you cansort of spin around kind of an interesting thing there and there’shaptic feedback out he says along with tiling so you can move things around onthe screens swiping them back and forth to show shortcuts where you want themyou can even bring some of those shortcuts down here to the lower screenand everything has kind of a bit of feedback and clicking noise which youcan take away if you don’t like to sort of give you some impression of whatexact you’re pressing on that said if youreally do want just old-school physical controls you’re not going to be able tofind them in the new a6 because everything is up here on the screens wedo wish that there were actually physical controls for things like someof the climate stuff but all of that again in the screens speaking of screensthere’s one more up here this is a twelve point three inch virtual cockpitouttie says this is its latest generation second generation of itsvirtual cockpit displays it’s got better graphics and faster processing thanbefore that is optional in the a6 now not a lot of storage space along thecenter console really know where to kind of put sunglasses or whatever else haveyou besides those cupholders but if you need space there’s a cubby here on theleft side of the steering wheel and this is literally how deep it is it’ll fitall of that I think like Narnia is on the other side of that whole the a6 willcome with four cylinder or v6 engines both of them turbocharged and frontwheel drive or Quattro all-wheel drive all that starts this fall when theredesign goes on sale so stay tuned for moreyou

2018 Subaru Outback Review – Cars.com

Subaru’s most popular vehicle got an update for 2018 but it’s hard to tellfrom looking at it subtle exterior styling changes likemore angular headlights and a larger grille combine to keep the Outbacksoverall look clean and small changes inside also make it more likable andcomfortable this year first the cabin got a makeover that gives it an overallmore upscale look the Outbacks cabin has always had a serviceable utilitarianlook and feel it got the job done but was never really anything special thisyear materials quality is classier and everything just looks more upscale interms of design and feel the comfy leather seats look and feel upscalecomplemented by the low gloss wood trim new stitching on the upper dash of toptrim models also add some pizzazz Subaru added a dose of luxury to the cabin atleast in higher trim levels second there’s an updated multimedia systemthat’s more modern looking and easier to use a standard six point five inchdisplay replaces last year’s smaller unit and an 8 inch display as optionalthe graphics are crisp the menus are straightforward and these tuning andvolume knobs are very handy apple carplay and android auto smartphonecapability are also new this year and they’re standard lastly the climatecontrols have been relocated directly under the multimedia screen for a morecohesive look third it’s quieter engine noise and road noise are more muted twoengines are still available for 2018 a 2. 5 liter four-cylinder is standard anda 3. 6 liter 6 cylinder is optional all-wheel drive is again standard onboth what’s new is the continuously variable automatic transmission tuningSubaru says it tweaked the CVT for a smoother response and I agree theartificial stepped gears make it feel overall more natural and cut down on thepowertrain loud droning sound quietness is improved in other areas too withreshaped mirrors thicker wheel well panels and insulated glass and otherareas of the cabin all of these combined to cut down on noise the 2018 SubaruOutback is on sale now and starts at around 27,000 dollars that’s about threehundred dollars more than the alcohol model some things about the outbackhaven’t changed for 2018 like it’s excellent forward and rear visibilityrobust all-wheel drive systems impressive list of available safetyfeatures and deep wide cargo area with handy mud corralling mat there areplenty of reasons why the Outback is Subarus most popular vehicle and for2018 there’s a couple more of themyou

2019 Ram 1500: First Impressions

we’re here at the Detroit Auto Show where RAM is showing their all-new 2019Ram 1500 now there’s a lot to talk about here because this is a brand new vehiclelet’s get started we’re here with this limited-edition Ram 1500 but on allthese vehicles brand new design inside and out on the outside you’ll noticethat we have a new hood with different power bulges also the grills completelydifferent grilles on each of the seven trim packages headlights are going to becompletely determined by what trim package you have halogen LED ordifferent sensor packages you might want as well to here on the side of the hoodis where you’re going to be identified as a half-ton pickup truck with theengine choice underneath as far as the wheels there’s more than 16 I thinkmaybe 18 different wheel choices depending on trim and option packagesand here you can see on the side as well to here very clear and distinct todifferent line cuts to try to keep it very symmetrical all the way back thisis the crew cab model that’s now four inches longer even the bed itself is aninch and a half taller so it more evenly connects and lines up with the cabconfiguration here at the back end brand new tail light design as well againdepending on what trim package you have and what options you want and thetailgate can be dropped from the inside with a push of a button or from the keyfob one final design detail here at the back end of the truck a brand new morechiseled Rams head but designers have kept the are AM lettering here on theback with the rebel package in fact the rebel package the more sporty ER of thetrim levels still has the big wheels and tires still has the taller suspensionlift on it’s about one inch higher whether you get the brand new coilsprings availability on the rebel package or you get the four corner airsuspension but the big news quad cab configuration here on the rebel willmake this a much shorter wheelbase and much more sporty or vehicle to take onthe trails but here’s the big design change here you get the power the powerbulge hood so this is brand new still has the vents just like the Mopar sporthood from the previous generation but nowidentifies this rebel as a half-ton here up up on here up on top and also whatengine is underneath finally here at the grillyou have the very familiar swoop over the RAM lettering but this is acompletely redesigned bumper and skid plate if you’re looking for something alittle more Street stealthy maybe this Laramie sport black packages is whatyou’re interested in it’s got the sport hood it’s got a black out front grillestill has the big Ram lettering but you get black inserts here in the headlightsyou get unique wheels you also get blackout mirrors door handles and alsoon the tailgate you get the blackout design here the Rams head but alsoblackout four inch dual tailpipes for power trains they’re gonna offer mildhybrids both for the 3. 6 liter Pentastar v6 and the 5. 7 liter Hemi that’s whatthis is right here this is the motor generator a 48 volt system that actuallyhas a 300 watt battery pack that allows this new pickup truck to have start/stopcapability and to provide 90 foot pounds of additional torque with the v6 and ahundred and thirty additional foot-pounds of torque for the 5. 7 literv8 the frame itself this is all new it’s fully boxed it’s got these splayed framerails here in the front so it has better front head and collision crash-testingand offset crash testing it’s got these tire breaker bars here in the back but Idon’t want to forget this either upper control arms here on the frontsuspension these are composite lower a arms are aluminum the entire weightsavings on this brand new frame is about 90 pounds when you compare it with the2018 model Ram half-ton pickup truck still has the same number of crossmembers this particular example has the four corner air suspension where youhave the compressor tanks here in the back and here at the back a muchstronger crossmember configuration here where you have the tow hitch now it’scapable of towing a maximum 12700 pounds a lot of big changes herein the interior as well brand-new gauge cluster here anInformation Center here for the driver tilt and telescoping steering wheelvery cool reconfiguring storage area here almost looks like a giant monsterminivan storage bin but the big story a completely redone information screenhere that can control all of your AC your radio your climates and evenprovide some Netflix Lite ordering features that you can do if you sign upfor the Sirius XM 360 l package but this is a very cool gigantic screen that youhave and also new leather materials dual storage bins here in the glove boxes andlet’s take a look in the back a lot of changes there too here in the back ofthe crew cab you can get a completely flat load floor and you can get anoptional heated and cooled seats for rear passengers you’ve got the RAM binbut now it’s twice as large as it was before and the seats themselves havethis amazing center console here plenty of storage cupholders also the seatsthemselves and slide forward so I get an eighth degree recline here if I want togo to sleep over these long-haul trips but very cool let’s take a lookunderneath you get even more storage in fact if you need a little bit more thanthis a couple flips put that up now great place to store fishing polesanother great interior feature is that you can literally see almost the entireoutdoors with this giant Sun roof and before we move on to cool features herein the center console one all sorts of mathematical calculations to calculateangles or mathematical equations also here at the bottom at the back end hereon this little flip up four generations of side view styles of the RAM half-tonpickup 2019 Kia Sorento Updates — Cars.com

he has family SUV that Sorrento’s received a lot of updates and here it iswith us at the Auto Show visually you can tell there’s a lot more going onhere down below this is an SX limited model versus what used to be on the SXlimited the quad fog lights sort of remain here but there’s a lot ofdifferent portals whether it’s this thing here or this little sectionunderneath this chrome trim around I don’t know a lot going on seems a littlebit busy for me compared to last year’s Sorento SX limited headlights have beenredesigned tail lights as well now you get around to the inside we’ll take youthrough a few changes there but a whole lot was redesigned not a whole lotneeded to be because the inside was fairly comfortable and fit and finishedwas good too a 7 inch screen a standard 8 inch screen optional apple carplay andandroid auto are also standard the climate controls have been lightlyredesigned and the steering wheel now a 4 spoke designed instead of a 3 spokedesign here’s one missed opportunity given that there’s a standard third rowa slide in sliding walk-in feature to the 3rd row only comes on the passengerside in this order I don’t know why Kia didn’t take this opportunity to add itto the driver’s side as well most sorento competitors do have both sidesaccess now you can get all this when the Sorento goes on sale in early 2018 sostay tuned for much more news closer to themyou

to MBA PhD whatever I justwant to give her a shout out what you want to talk about today whateverrecalled folks we have some recalls this time looked like Chrysler crisis had anastronomical number of recalls and right now they’re recalling two hundred andninety seven thousand older minivans from 2011 to 2017 miles of the DodgeCaravan they have a wiring issue where it may short short causing the driverside airbag to deploy without warning that sounds like sakata inflatedsituation but this thing it’s not Secada it’s a wiring issue no issue on theirside now what is this is something that the chronic can use to say hey it’s notour inflation you guys I don’t think that’s gonna getthem off the hook hey I say if I was the card I’d use itI’d use them if nothing else is a stalling tactic to say hey it’s not meit’s you it’s not up it’s you but anyway that’sstaccato what do you guys driving this week let’s make this short and sweetright what are you in oh I just got into a what a chevrolet well moving right alongauto academics that knit our PhD Chris Lawrence Chris what are you in this weekthis week I have a 2017 hyundai ioniq Rick limited so uh this is Hyundai’s allnew platform spit out for I guess a couple months nowbut the platform it’s a hybrid a plug-in hybrid as well as an electric vehiclethat have been launched on this one platform and so it’s a hatchback bodystyle and I guess the the most notable thing for me driving this vehicle isthat it it actually has a substantial range to it this is one of the firstvehicles that I’ve experienced outside of Tesla that have a extensive range forlack of better words so whereas Hyundai they have it listedas 124 miles you can get on a charge I the Carmen’s been showing 130 I think Ieven saw a hundred thirty to one day so uh so that’s a significant amount ofrange where you can pretty much drive or at least commute wherever you would liketo go during a day and not really have to worry too much about charging it upnow obviously if you don’t have any type of a level to fast charger at home ifyou’re plugging it into the standard wall outlet then you will be spendingquite a few hours to put all that juice back into the battery but it’s nice toknow that if you if your driving habits happen to be say less than 50 miles aday or so you honestly don’t even need to charge it every day like some of theother vehicles that are on the market today the price is thirty six thousandeight hundred thirty five dollars and that’s before any type of rebates oranything like that so you know at all it’s uh it’s very has to be a prettydecent electric vehicle therefore for those who like to drive you know I I hadthat a couple of weeks ago and got to talk about it and I’ll just reiteratethat is a hybrid that might actually drag me over into being interested in inhybrids it really it looks good inside an app there’s nothing quirky andgimmicky about it it’s comfortable it handles well it’s got decentacceleration I liked it now did you have the hybrid or did you have the electriccar I had two hybrid okay yeah I’m in the full electric version and yeahand I mean again like you said though all that stuff you know it it has a nicestyle to it it’s practical you know you can uh with that hatchback style you canfold the seats down and put large items back there and you know there’s enoughspace to carry four adults in in decent comfort five and a pinch and againthough that range is just the magic thing where you don’t really have toworry so much you know you don’t take one trip somewhere and all of a suddenit’s like yes I’ve only got 60 miles left before I wear this thing dies on meokay here you take a trip and you come home you’re like I still have 90 milesleft before this thing dies or me which is where most of those electric vehiclestypically start so yeah overall I’ve been I’ve been rather impressed with therange of it I was hired for now said to be an ionic ionic yes I on it yeah no Iwas just going to comment real quick that it must be kind of how should yousay market that car because I’m scheduled to get it what I guess in midAugust you know the full electric because they’re they’re definitely tryto push it out there now you know again it um it just recently hit the market soum so it’s a car that they definitely want to get the word out on it yeahwe’ll see I works you know because I do not have a speed charger be one of thosethings though I don’t have to run a big extension cord down to the basementplugin in fact looking dryhowever at my advanced age when I’m in I’m in it I’m generally in here but youknow NAT o’clock 9:30 at the latest and I do have a you know there’s anelectrical outlet on the out on the outside of the house so you knowhopefully I can just plug it in there and dealing when I wake up in themorning it should be fully charged we’ll see yeah none of my plans even work butLucy if that one does okay I’m supposed are you seeing this guy you know whatyes I’m seeing something I don’t know what the street yeah you see it now it’snot that strong now you see it no you know now yeahI’m not you see it now you don’t but okay this way 1700 tooth on the nightversion all-wheel drive 1. 6 litre turbocharged gasoline direct injectedfour-cylinder get 275 horsepower at 195 pound-feet of torque as a 7-speedautomatic transmission the exterior color is a black noir pearlI thought nor a mint black but I guess they meant black black pearl theinterior color is a black on black it’s 24 miles per gallon city 28 highway 25miles per gallon combined now all inclusive everything you see on thisthing is all-inclusive in one MSRP of thirty thousand two hundred and twentydollars so when you get the black version looks like you get it all onething I can say about this I love the design I love the size it’s just theright size for a small crossover anyway SUV that’s what I look at it as a smallcrossover I guess some people would say it’s a small SUV interior space lots ofinterior space lots of storage space as you can see their feeling is verycomfortable you have enough leg in the back the front design issomething that sets it apart as far as I’m concerned the starting to creep up acouple years ago we weren’t talking about loan delinquency but I guesspeople forget that they still have to make a car paymentafter fact in 74 a month then hey hold on this thing by now I’m fine out no youdon’t think about what do you think about these longer car loans it’s a it’sa result of the instant gratification sort of thing that that you know weaccuse the the Millennials of that but me and that started that started reallywith our generation I’m not talking to you Chris but you know these old guys uphere around and because I remember my dad my dad bought a new car every otheryear every other year and the what he had was paid off it was two yearfinancing and he buy it paid off by the next one by paid off by the next one andyou had to make a down payment yeah yep and now you know it’s and itstarted I you know I can remember my first car was a three year loan and Ifinanced one for four years and I financed one for five years and so weyou know we’re just into this when it comes to cars we think that’s perfectlyfine a car is in a house anything that loses value you know to stretch thepayments after four six seven years is just not smart financially it is yes andit isn’t it’s an appliance that’s right it’s a washing machine that you drivearound basically and you know it’s just crazy stuffand not only that but it also affects sales in terms of the industry I don’tknow why the industry would encourage this because people just can’t afford tobuy a new car in three years or four years because they’re going to be upsidedown until year the end of year five or into your sex somewhere on a seven-yearnote that’s just that’s it’s not what you know I remember well at all the mostnews a few years ago on Kathy Jackson I used to talk about this all the timewhere people were taking four and five year on loans out and as you say nowit’s in what six or seven year loan and and and you know accentuating whatChristian is that basically you’re pretty much upside down on a car after acouple years you know in terms of you know it wasn’t it wasn’t worth what youown on and that’s just getting worse and worse and worse and the point of it isis change of attitude if you will because you know after six or sevenyears back up a car I’ll check you may even trade in after you know after fouryears so that’s more debt piling on piled on to the new day dude that wasthat anyway I’m it’s gotten to be where is the no-win situation because don’t ifyou don’t have bet you’re gonna lie Chito for not having credit if you dohave bit most of the time especially with cars the payments we’ve gotten tobe outrageous because people want to get into a car for the least amount ofout-of-pocket money and so you’re going to be penalized there and you know youmissed a couple of car payments now they’re going to come in take your carbut one thing I can say about the industry and auto dealers they’re tryingto encourage people to make larger down payment now I don’t know how that’sgoing to fly in the marketplace but they’re trying to get people to makemore down payment you know we always be in the old day if you didn’t make a downpayment you didn’t drive the car because they wouldn’t make they wouldn’t makethe loan it was just that simple but you knewthat and you started saving money too and they would tell you how much you hadto put down at a minimum you had to put down X amount of dollars or you didn’tget the loan but now lenders have changed they’ve gotten lost the carcompanies have been you know the dealers have been able to kind of work thelender so to speak fire enticing them with more business that they’re goingalong with this situation of no money down or little than no money down andI’ve always said lease a car yeah you have talked about excess wear and tearand the extra mileage take care of your doggone car if you own it anyway youshould be taking care of it I mean it should just trash it and you know whatyou know how long ago two miles stated how long you’re going to you know howfar rather you’re going to drive the car most of the time let’s look at the lasttwo or three cars you own what would an odometer the total mileage that give youa good idea pay for the excess mileage and enjoy driving what you want and mostof the time you can get it at a reasonable payment because there’s a lotof lease programs that you can get into that don’t cost you as much money as aas a traditional loan and friends right a lot of these people they they theyjump out of whatever current car they have wanting to get into that nextvehicle and then carry over that old loan that old debt into the new vehicleright and so it’s like literally within months they’re upside down in the newvehicle because they carried over so much debt from the old one so manythousands of dollars and it just it it just doesn’t make any sense you knowinstead of no matter what the situation is you know they instead of riding itout and saying okay you know what the car still functions its feel good let meride it out get it paid off before I jump into that next vehicle you knowmaybe the last transaction was bad made a mistake what have you let’s ride itout and and get it taken care of get it get it wiped off my books before I gointo the next thing but they just want to get out and they don’t realize thatthat debt doesn’t go anywhere they just carry it into the next the next loan andnow they’re in a worse situation than technically what they left and you knowit gets to the point where they find themselves making repairs on a car thatthey’re still making a new car payment on you know so it’s like getting hit onboth ends of the car and in case they have to park the car because some ofthese repairs that are going to pop up and most of the time you get hit withthem after the warranty period of the car or expensive so you can’t even makethe repair on the car end it and you’re still making a payment on something thatyou can’t dry so I’ve seen that in a number of instances even back when Ithrow cars in the ancient days yeah the other issue another not the other issuebut another issue is that and and I know we all we all only work kind of orconcerned about getting in the car driving it right now but well you’ve gota car that you’re upside down in and you go and trade that in and you roll overwhat you owe in to the next into the next loan you know that’s that’s a loteasier to do when when your interest rate is two-and-a-half or three percentor three and a half percent they ain’t going to go on foreverthe karna to the car that you buy today and roll over what you own your old carinto that thing you know five six years from now you may be in maybe up to fourand a half five five and a half percent interest because interest rates aren’tgoing to stay this low forever right we’ve gotten kind of used to thembecause they’ve been this way now for for going on 10 years but it ain’t goingto be that way forever why to give you an system whichi think is a great system and if i’m not mistakenNissa is trying to get all of the manufactures to go to a automaticbraking system I think they did something like that with review camerasif I’m not mistaken what an automatic braking system is a good thing and it’salso a scary thing especially if you’ve never experienced it before and whatthat takes into consideration is using the radar in the front of the car todetermine your distance between the car that’s in front of you and it reallytakes into consideration your speed and the closing distance between you and thecar in front of you so if the system indicates that you’re not starting tobreak fast enough it will automatically start braking and if it was and it’llhave chimes and all kinds of bells and whistles to get your attention includinga vigil on the dash to get you to react meaning to start braking if you don’tstart braking it’ll start braking for you and in some cases the cars willactually come to a full to a full stop or complete stop now I think that’s oneof the better systems even I think that’s even better than the rear viewcameras comment I would agree with that and I just just did a story on that forAuto Trader and in that I called Nissan up andtalked to him a little bit about the system and and it is one of thosesystems that will depending on your speed will bring the vehicle to acomplete stop if you just don’t react at all that other speeds it won’t so it’sone of those things that that you’re not guaranteed that the thing will stop youcompletely if you’re not alert to it but it’s you know good for Nissan it willinvolve about a million two thousand eighteen cars it doesn’t includeanything with a manual transmission that doesn’t include anything with mismo thathas the knees mo tag on it but pretty much everything else it’s going to takecare of and I you know kudos to them I think it’s a great idea yeah I think ontop of that you say you you would like to see the government do it
